From the first Korean schools to training halls across continents, Taekwon-Do grew through teachers and their students. Choi Hong Hi named the art, developed its techniques with fellow masters and founded the ITF. This history follows their shared path: international expansion, the GTF, the divisions of 2001–2003 and the community after its founder. His personal journey is told in the biography.
Ukraine’s story begins with the first classes of the 1980s, followed by the seminars of 1989, national championships, regional schools and world-level success. Year by year, it leads to the Union’s creation in 2006 and our Federation’s in 2025. Behind every event are people: teachers, athletes and clubs whose names, results and daily work we preserve here for the generations that will continue their story.
