International Instructor Course (IIC) | Ukraine
On 17–18 January, the International Instructor Course (IIC) for Ukraine took place, held in an online format (Zoom) for safety reasons.
Initially, the IIC was planned as an in-person event in the city of Ivano-Frankivsk, organised by the Taekwon-Do M.F.T. Federation of Ukraine.
During the International Instructor Course in Slovakia, working discussions were held between Master Oleh Solovey and the ITF Technical Committee, as a result of which, in view of the security situation in Ukraine, it was proposed to conduct the course in an online format.
This decision was supported by the ITF Technical Committee and officially confirmed by the ITF Board of Directors.
A total of 120 Ukrainian instructors took part in the course, 81 of whom represent the Taekwon-Do M.F.T. Federation of Ukraine. The seminar was held in a working, disciplined and professional atmosphere.
The IIC took place against the backdrop of a difficult situation in Ukraine — massive missile strikes, electricity cuts and communication disruptions. Despite this, Ukrainian instructors continued their training and professional development.
We extend our sincere gratitude to the ITF Technical Committee, the ITF Board of Directors and the Grand Masters for supporting Ukraine, for their trust and for the opportunity to hold an official international course.
