On 10–11 October 2026, Ivano-Frankivsk hosted a national technical Taekwon-Do seminar led by Malaysian instructor See Kean Piew (6th dan). 162 participants from across Ukraine attended, including instructors, coaches and athletes.
Over the two days, participants explored the technical details of patterns, also known as tul. See Kean Piew demonstrated specific exercises, explained training methods and focused on precision of movement.
The seminar also introduced approaches to athlete preparation and session planning used in Asian Taekwon-Do. Practical demonstrations gave Ukrainian coaches and athletes new exercises and teaching methods to draw on in their own training.
These meetings offer instructors an opportunity to exchange experience with colleagues from other countries, deepen their technical knowledge and strengthen international cooperation within the ITF community.
