On 22 March 2026, the Roma Gladiator Open 2026 international Taekwon-Do tournament took place in Italy, bringing together 450 participants from 12 countries worldwide and 41 sports clubs. The competition was held at a high organisational level and became an important event on the international ITF calendar.
Ukraine was represented at these competitions by the Martial Arts Center sports club (Kharkiv), which demonstrated outstanding results and took 2nd place in the overall team standings among 41 clubs.
According to the results of the competition, the team from Kharkiv won:
• 🥇 14 gold medals
• 🥈 8 silver medals
• 🥉 6 bronze medals
• Total: 28 medals
This is an exceptionally high result at an international tournament of this level and confirmation of the strong school of Ukrainian Taekwon-Do.
We are truly proud of our athletes and coaches who represented Ukraine with honour on the international stage, demonstrating a high level of preparation, fortitude and genuine Ukrainian character.
