These results are the outcome of years of systematic work, a high standard of coaching, and the region's strong sporting traditions.
The significance of the result in current conditions
These victories hold special value considering the realities in which Ukrainian sport currently lives and trains. Amidst full-scale war, constant shelling, destroyed infrastructure, and disruptions to electricity and heating, Ukrainian athletes continue to train, compete, and triumph on the international stage.
This is not just a sporting result — it is proof of the fortitude, resilience, and unyielding spirit of the Ukrainian nation.
The Taekwon-Do M.F.T. Federation of Ukraine expresses sincere gratitude to:
• the Armed Forces of Ukraine — for the opportunity to live, train, and represent Ukraine in the world;
• the Ministry of Youth and Sports of Ukraine — for supporting and developing sport in extremely challenging conditions;
• the athletes and coaches — for their professionalism, hard work, and dedication;
• the tournament organisers — for the high standard of running the competition.
This tournament was an excellent rehearsal ahead of the European Championships to be held in Maribor this April. The performance in Helmond clearly demonstrated that our athletes are on the right track and ready to fight for top honours on the continental stage.
Ukrainian Taekwon-Do is strong, united, and competitive on the world stage.
Ukraine is first.
