Adaptive Taekwon-Do in Ukraine: a new step towards inclusivity
⠀
The Taekwon-Do M.F.T. Federation of Ukraine is beginning the development of an important new discipline — adaptive Taekwon-Do.
This is a modern form of Taekwon-Do practice aimed at people with various physical, mental or sensory needs.
⠀
We believe that Taekwon-Do is for everyone.
It is not only a sport, but also a path to inner strength, self-respect and growth — regardless of life circumstances.
⠀
Sabum Iryna Kuznietsova, VI Dan, has been appointed responsible for the development of this discipline in Ukraine — an experienced coach who has long been working to create an accessible environment for training and self-fulfilment.
⠀
“Adaptive Taekwon-Do is not about limitations. It is about opportunities. About the strength of spirit that knows no bounds,” says Sabum Iryna.
⠀
The Federation plans to develop special programmes, instructor training and certification for clubs open to working with people with disabilities.
⠀
Together we are building a strong, inclusive Taekwon-Do community in Ukraine!
